Finally, expressive lighting and photography, great performances, clear sound and innovative editing all serve to IMMERSE THE AUDIENCE in the story and more DIRECTLY CONNECT THE AUDIENCE with the characters and subjects on-screen.
WHY CIVIL TWILIGHT?
“Civil Twilight” an astronomical term for magic hour, when the sun sets below the horizon but the light in the sky transports the us into a romantic, dream-like state. For us, visual storytelling sings when the experience is designed to transport the audience on an emotional journey, similar to dreaming with ones eyes open. Story always comes first.
THE TEAM
Director/Producer ÁNGEL GRANADOS
Award-winning director/cinematographer ÁNGEL GRANADOS teaches cinematography at the famed UCLA School of Theater, Television & Film. In 2012-2014, he served as an in-house cinematographer and producer for the American Society of Cinematographers in Hollywood. With over 20 years of professional narrative, documentary, and still photography work in 16 countries, he now regularly produces legal day-in-the-life and settlement films, as well as feature narrative independent films and documentaries.

Stills Photographer EROS HOAGLAND worked as a photojournalist for fifteen years before discovering the magic of cinematography while working on the acclaimed HBO series "Witness." Eros has worked extensively for clients including The New York Times, TIME magazine, CNN, Legendary Pictures and Fox Studios among many others. From Afghanistan and Iraq to the set of Alejandro Iñarritu’s “The REVENANT,” Eros is well known for his ability to apply his craft to any work environment.
